HAVEN Free Clinic is a student-run organization.  There are various student directors on the HAVEN Leadership Board from the Yale School of Nursing, School of Medicine, School of Public Health, Physician Associate Program, and other programs at Yale University. Application FAQs:

Who can apply?

Any health professional student at Yale who will be enrolled for the entire board term, usually from January 2022 to mid-February 2023, is eligible to apply (YSN, YSPH, YPA, YSM). Select positions are also open to other students at Yale University. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to the New Haven community and/or have some experience working in an administrative capacity.

 

Can I still apply if I have never volunteered at HAVEN?

Yes! Previous volunteer experience at the clinic is NOT required in order to join the HAVEN board.
